{StOP the PRess}

   This is not an April Fool's Day prank, I am really posting.  Now, what I am posting about is definately a trick.  No, I do not have an older girl but my oldest decided to dress up as a girl...  His friend provided the clothing for her, I mean him and this is what we ended up with, Andrea.  Oh, the life of a girl as he put it best when the wig was itching.  His friend borrowed his clothes and they just switched places.  They wanted to go to the store which was their entire plan but ended up not going.  There were suppose to be four more but these two were the brave ones.  Pretty funny!!  Pretty cute little girl if I say so myself.

 

{Tis THE SeASon}

Andrew was suppose to dress up festive for his classroom party and this is what he came up with.  It was seriously histerical.  We wrapped him in lights plugged them in and here we have a living, breathing, Christmas Tree.  He has my green sweatpants on, Christmas socks, Christmas hat, and branches coming out of his shirt.  Hopefully he will win a trip to the principals office for the best dress up!  :) 

{DaNCiNg PrInCeSS}

 Since Peanut is my first girl I have been very anxious to sign her up for dancing.  I came to grips with the fact that I could wait until age three.  However, with that being said she loves to dance, she runs around every time Dora comes on and any other music.  One day at squashes gymnastics she was quite upset because she couldn't participate.  I told her on her birthday I would take her to a special dance class.  When we got home from the gymnastics she was not going to get out of the car because we needed to go to her dance.  I came in and called the dance studio.   They offered a two year old class for $25.00 a month.  Ok, could I resist.  A B S O L U T E L Y NOT.  We signed up immediately and have been two times.  She LOVES it.  We had to put on her princess crown and fairy dress and she was in Heaven.  Here is her first day.  Pretty Adorable.  I am sure that I will have many more adorable dance pictures. 

{TruNK or TrEaT}

Tonight was the the Annual Neighborhood/Ward trunk or treat.  So we dressed up the little vampires and off we went.  I am hoping that their teeth do not fall out before tomorrow because of the huge amounts of sugar that they got.  They had cotton candy on top of all of the Halloween Candy.  Our squash was extremely helpful as always with baby.  He insisted on making sure she never ran out of cotton candy.  After three spools I finally put my foot down and said no.  Can't wait for the real trick or treating!!  Enjoy the pics!

   

{MeDieVAL ToRtUre SeSSion}

Can anyone guess what I am talking about?  Well, let me explain!!  I have been taking my kiddies pictures for several years now and I have started taking professional pictures of other people as well!!  However, when you need pictures of your family including your husband and self what do you do?  You hire another professional.  Great Idea!!  We had an awesome photographer take our pictures last night let me tell you how it went play by play.

12:30 PM:  Get peanut in the shower.

1:00 PM:  Lay peanut down for a nap.

1:30 PM:  To much noise, go and check on her, completely naked, get her dressed again.

2:00 PM:  To much noise, go and check on her, completely naked, get her dressed again.

2:30 PM:  To much noise, go and check on her, completely naked, give up on nap and getting her dressed, get her out of bed and have SERIOUS conversation with her that she can't be grumpy at 5:15 tonight.  (who am I kidding?)

2:30 PM:  Start getting ready.

3:30 PM:  Get Peanut ready.

3:50 PM:  Get call from Brandon, "What time do I need to be home again, oh by 4:00, I forgot I might not be done golfing!!"  (yes, he is serious)

4:00 PM:  Boys come home, get ready, listen to Drewski have melt downs because he is hungry and "Do I know how torturous pictures are for little boys?"  (are you kidding)  Explain to him that pictures are more torturous on the mothers, trust me.

4:30 PM:  On our way to McDonald's to get food and then off to downtown.  "Do not wipe the greasy nuggets on your suits"

4:31 PM:  Drewski and Peanut fall asleep.  Are you kidding?  No, I am not!!

5:15 PM:  Peanut screaming and throwing a fit and won't put her blanket down.  Drewski and Josh running around.

6:00 PM:  Peanut passes out because I take away her blanket.

6:15 PM:  Drewski bawling, Squash screaming poop, poop, poop, poop, poop.  Do you get the point.

6:16 PM:  We give up!!

Ok, need I say more?  The photographer says nicely maybe we should try in the morning?

{WeSTerN DaYs}

Hold on to your applause rodeo fans we are about to introduce the cutest cowpoke in the wild wild west.  This special little cowpoke is sporting high fashion western wear that includes a custom made western vest and chaps from the highest quality vinyl, hand sewn, his genuine black cowboy boots (hand picked by his grandfather), and the navy blue bandanna courtesy of our friend.  His western wear has been inspired by the Western Days that only happen once a year at his school.  Ladies and Gentleman please welcome, the cutest cowboy, the Joshua Squashua!!  He received this outfit at his young tender age of just 1 1/2 years old and luckily it still fits just like the day he got it!! (almost)

 

{FaLL iS in The AIR}

The changing of seasons from summer to fall!!  I love pulling out the decorations and changing my house from spring and summer to fall and winter.  The oranges, browns, reds, golds, all of my top colors.  The smell of autumn.  The changing colors.  My family, we get to celebrate our anniversary every fall, this year it is 12 years!!  Hard to believe but 12 years later we are blessed with three wonderful children!!  A thankful time of year, MY FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR!!

We take one of our many weekly trips to Walgreen's to get the squash a treat for trying so hard in Soccer the day before. The cashier was really cute with the kids and gave them stickers and asked them their names.  Squashy replied Joshua and peanut so cutely said, I am called Soapee!!  It was adorable.  She was so proud of herself!!  Great Job my SOAPEE!!

{BeaUtiFUL BaBY}

Ok, so I am not talking about my beautiful baby but my friends beautiful baby.  Yesterday, we had her newborn photo shoot.  My peanut helped me prepare for it by letting me take pictures of her to test the lighting.  : )  She did a great job by not running from me (see previous posts)  Anyway, my friends newborn baby is beautiful and was a perfect model!!  She was so patient even when we were torturing her (according to my son).  Anyway, thanks A.N. for your patience and beautiful baby.  Here is my favorite shot, even though there are many, this one turned out amazing.
